- First Responders on Ground; Search & Recovery Completed
Demonstrating our rapid-response and specialized search-and-rescue capabilities, SSGF Nepal was engaged to conduct search and recovery operations for employees reported missing following the Bhotekoshi mudslide.
Our specialized team was rapidly mobilized and deployed to the affected area, where we conducted systematic search and recovery operations under extremely challenging terrain and environmental conditions. With operational efficiency and determination, the team successfully located and recovered the body of one foreign national and supported the relevant authorities with subsequent procedures.
In addition, our teams conducted extensive searches along potential escape and evacuation routes extending through Mailung, Grang, Thade, and towards Dhunche. The geographic conditions were severe, with wiped-out trails, sheer cliffs, and continuous mudslide hazards.
In the Mailung area, our team was the first human presence on the ground following the mudslide, entering an area that had remained completely cut off and inaccessible after the disaster. Navigating through unstable mountain debris, our operators mapped search grids and provided vital ground intelligence to emergency response agencies.
These operations reflect SSGF Nepal’s ability to rapidly mobilize specialized personnel, coordinate complex movements, and deliver reliable security and extraction solutions under demanding and rapidly changing circumstances.
